Made this one for a friend who collects Day of the Dead stuff. It's my second wood and skull robot, this time with a steampunk twist. The wings are made from typewriter mechanisms; body is the handle from an old chisel; skull is from a mardi gras necklace. I stamped "YOU SHALL LIVE", from Ezekiel 37, on the base.

I made Greeniebot for my oldest daughter for Christmas 2008. He's modeled after a robot in an old Bugs Bunny cartoon.

Old Yeller is a good boy. He likes kids and other robot dogs. He's made from old skates, an antique flashlight, some sorta chrome grill thingy from an old car, and fan blades.

Gloria is made from a wooden salt shaker, an old circular saw blade, clock parts, and printer ink. She now resides at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in New Holstein, WI where my friend Vicki is pastor. Gloria was a 'Thank You' gift to the folks of Gloria Dei who sent me a great pile of junk from their church rummage sale.
I just finished this fellow yesterday and I'm not sure what to call him. Some possible factors in naming him: My wife and daughters, who have been known to pronounce my robots as cute, are all creeped out by him. Indeed, this may be the 'darkest' robot I've made. He's one of my favorites. He's also my first wooden robot.
Possible names so far: Skullbot, Bone-bot, Ezekiel-bot, Zeke-bot. Do you have any ideas?
Materials: His head is from a Mardi Gras necklace, his body is a handle from an old awl, arms and hands are from an old typewriter, cogs from an alarm clock, and my favorite parts of him are the old ball and socket joint shoulders that I have no idea what they are originally from.
My next bot that has a skull might have led eyes.

Juliette
Juliette loves dancing just for the sake of dancing plus, she loves the feel of her pony tail swaying as she moves. She's made from an antique trasistor radio, flashlight, and ice cream scoop handles.
Happy Boy
Happy Boy is one of most colorful robots so far. He's made from an antique flashlight, a scan of a 1940's erector set, plumbing & electrical parts, and Jello molds.He now resides with my pal Kristofer in his office at Sparkhouse in Minneapolis.
